MDL launches CMMS for predictable asset life support
MDL has launched its advanced Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), MDL Pulse.
The state-of-the art system is a reflection of the company's dedication to providing clients with reliable and efficient solutions through its 25-year experience in flexlay equipment delivery and operations.
The CMMS schedules routine maintenance based on time, usage or predefined triggers, helping asset manager to prevent equipment breakdowns and enhancing overall operational efficiency. Through MDL Pulse, asset owners can access real-time information on the status of their equipment, including maintenance needs and schedules.
"The introduction of our CMMS marks a significant step forward in our assurance program," said Andrew Blaquiere, Managing Director at MDL.
"By aiding clients in making data-driven decisions regarding their own maintenance strategies and resource allocation, we help them achieve the exceptional reliability that they have come to expect from MDL equipment. For clients who wish to concentrate on their core operations, we offer comprehensive asset management through tailored maintenance contracts.
"A notable benefit of the CMMS is its inventory management capability. It ensures that spare parts are accurately tracked and ordered just in time so they are readily available when required, thereby reducing downtime caused by a lack of spare parts, while minimising costs associated with excess inventory due to overstocking."
