Corporate Social Responsibility
The Bigger Picture
At MDL, we recognise that we are a part of a larger, interdependent system of people, values, organisations and nature.
Our CSR policy outlines our efforts to give back to the world. We aim to be a socially responsible corporate citizen and strive to meet the highest standards of ethics and professionalism.
Our responsibility falls under two categories: compliance and proactiveness.
Compliance
Compliance refers to our commitment to ensure that our business is conducted per legal, ethical and professional standards.
At MDL we will always:
- Respect and comply with all laws and regulations that apply to us, our partners and clients
- Promote fair business practices and treat all parties with whom we have business relationships in a fair and respectful manner, maintaining transparency
- Honour, review and relive our internal policies
MDL is dedicated to protecting human rights and will ensure that our activities do not directly or indirectly violate human rights onshore or offshore, anywhere in the world.
We are a committed equal opportunity employer and abide by all fair labour practices, and support diversity and inclusion.
We take a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption, and are committed to acting professionally, fairly, safely and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships.
Proactiveness
We seek to take every initiative to promote human rights, help communities and protect the natural environment beyond the legal context.
We endeavour to reduce our environmental impact whilst maintaining a successful and competitive business. We follow best practices and promote environmentally-friendly solutions, including recycling, conserving energy and eco-friendly technologies.
Recognising that our environment is constantly changing and evolving, we actively invest in research and development. We carefully listen to suggestions and ideas, and aspire to continuously improve the way in which we operate.

Giving back
We know where our roots are: in a tight-knit community, built on real, home values.
We support local initiatives, big or small, whether they help save lives, or simply spread a bit of joy. We encourage our employees to volunteer, and organise our own events to aid causes close to our hearts.
Here are a few of the organisations we are proud to be supporting.
