MDL celebrates 15th Christmas with magical fundraiser

More than a 100 guests consisting of Maritime Developments’ staff, their partners and friends came together to celebrate the company’s 15th Christmas.
The event featured a champagne reception and traditional three-course dinner, accompanied by a magician providing some mind-boggling entertainment.
The culmination of the night was a prize draw from which all proceeds have been donated to the company’s charity of choice, the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI).
In total the company collected £2,100 for the cause.
Derek Smith, Maritime Developments’ chief executive, said:
“Maritime Developments’ 15th Christmas party was a great opportunity not only to support a good cause, but also to thank the team for their contribution to the company’s continuous success.
“Seeing everyone get on so well in their time away from the workplace was the best testament to the real strength of our team.
“I am immensely proud of them as I know it is their efforts and attitude that have our clients returning year on year.”
The company also sponsored the Peterhead 2014 Christmas Lights initiative in further support of Maritime Developments’ local community over the festive season.
