51Te tensioner annual inspection

Following a long-term deployment, an annual inspection was due on a 4-track, 51Te Tensioner. However, the unit was already scheduled for its next offshore campaign within weeks, leaving limited time to complete any necessary maintenance without risking project delays.

In line with our planned maintenance schedule and using MDL Pulse, MDL’s Computerised Maintenance Management System, several components were already identified for replacement. These tasks were scheduled in advance of the equipment’s return, enabling us to carry out the necessary work immediately upon arrival at our facility and support a swift turnaround.

MDL Pulse enabled the team to align essential maintenance with operational priorities, avoiding disruption to project schedules while ensuring asset reliability. The platform supported clear task ownership, real-time progress monitoring, and full traceability throughout, helping to complete the work on time and redeploy the asset offshore at full capacity.
